Peranakan Mansion 僑生府

That was the BEST Nyonya cuisine I ever had in Malacca.. seriously, everyone must try their appetizer pie tee and the braised pork.. so delicious! The staff was also welcoming. Better make reservation (call in or via google map assisted) I really love the Peranakan-style ambiance in restaurants — it feels like a conversation across time.

A stunning restaurant and the food was just as good. We had the ikan jenak asam steam and sambal udang, it was so fresh and delicious. We also had the sago gula melaka and cendol, very generous with the santan but i did find it a tiny bit too sweet. Definitely make reservations in advance and parking is difficult so take e-hailing or its going to be a walk up to the restaurant.

This Peranakan restaurant offers a fantastic experience. The shophouse setting is beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the chili pork, Ayam buah keluak, and chendol. The portions may seem a bit small, but I think it’s just right and it allows you to try a wider range of dishes. The prices are extremely reasonable, so the food and decor are a great value for money. I will definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our dinner in this traditional Peranakan Mansion. The atmosphere was surreal, you felt like you were back in time. The service was very attentive. To start,we had the vegetable spring rolls. The beef rendang with bao was so tasty. We also ordered the lemon grass chicken. After the 1st bite, you could tell it was a kampong(village) chicken. Was delish !!! The diners seemed to be a mix of Malaysian locals and Asian tourists. Was not expensive. Great Nyonya food in a traditional setting.

Recommended by friends from Melaka. The vibe in this place is awesome. Really makes you feel like you're living in a Baba Nyonya traditional house. Food here is really good and the portion is just nice for 6 pax. The babi goreng chilli garam is a must order here. Pairs really well with the butterfly pea flower tea. Really good. Price is also reasonable for the portion. Highly recommended.

18Jun2025 - Dinner Went to the beautiful Peranakan Mansion for dinner with our Church friends on our free night. When we arrived at 7:15pm, the restaurant was pretty much full house. It was fortunate we made reservations in advance. The restaurant served authentic Nonya cuisine, which were indeed delicious. Enjoyed every dish ordered. Serving staff were polite, patient and helpful which made our dining experience there delightful.

If you enjoy the opulence of the Peranakan culture and food this is the place to be. Go get your family and enjoy this delectable cuisine in style filing your belly with synopsis food that is authentic and yummi- delish! When you are in Malacca - try this place for dinner! It’s so good! Aldo check out the upstairs! This is an awesome place to have birthday parties or wedding dinners exclusively ! Highly recommend !
